For years, I lived in contradiction —
high-functioning on the outside, fragmented within.

Brilliant. Capable. Seen.
And internally — overwhelmed, self-doubting, and exhausted from holding everything.

I was stuck in paralysis-by-analysis,
looping urgency, and carrying expectations I never consciously chose.

Then everything broke.

A heartbreak stripped away the identity I had built my life around.
And in that collapse, I saw the truth:

My empathy — unmanaged — was costing me my center.

Stillness became the turning point.

Not as an escape — but as a confrontation.

That’s where I discovered:

With 20+ years as a professional performer — fire dancer, burlesque artist, nude model —
I knew how to be seen.

But I hadn’t yet learned how to fully inhabit myself.
